Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the App.

eSign is a tool that allows users to visually place signatures, text, and annotations on PDF documents. The App offers:

• Import and view PDF documents
• Draw, type, or import a signature
• Place signatures and text fields on PDF pages
• Export signed PDF documents

All document processing is performed locally on your device. No documents are uploaded to any server.

By using this App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• eSign is a visual signature placement tool, not a qualified electronic signature service within the meaning of the eIDAS Regulation or any equivalent legislation
• The App does not guarantee any legal validity of the signatures placed on documents
• You are solely responsible for ensuring that your signed documents comply with applicable laws and regulations
• The Publisher has no access to any document processed through the App
• No documents are stored, transmitted, or retained by the Publisher

The App offers a freemium model with the following plans:

• Free: 3 signed exports per month, with a "Signed with eSign" watermark on documents
• Pro Annual: 9.99€/year — unlimited exports, no watermark (3-day free trial)
• Pro Weekly: 1.99€/week — unlimited exports, no watermark

Subscription terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase
• A free trial of 3 days is available for the annual plan only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged
• Recurring subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• No refund is provided for the current billing period (managed by Apple)

The App uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat Inc. (San Francisco, CA) — subscription and entitlement management. RevenueCat processes anonymous device identifiers and purchase data. Data Processing Agreement: revenuecat.com/dpa
• Apple: payment processing via StoreKit

The App, its content, design, and source code are the exclusive property of The Proper App Company. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not use the App to forge, falsify, or fraudulently sign documents
• Ensure you have the right and authority to sign any document you process through the App
• Take responsibility for the content of all documents you sign or modify

The Publisher shall not be held liable for:

• The legal validity or enforceability of any document signed using the App
• Any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the App
• The content of documents processed by users
• Any data loss due to technical malfunction
• Any consequences arising from the rejection of a document signed with the App by a third party

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the App in case of abuse, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

The App is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and may be available on macOS via Apple Silicon compatibility.

The App is rated 4+ on the App Store and does not contain restricted content.

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the App after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or enforcement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
